Royal Automobile Club Asia (RAC Asia) is a motorsports club based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Established in year 2017 with the primary focus on developing professional motorsports in the Asian region with a particular focus in Sri Lanka.
RAC Asia intends to be a catalyst in developing motorsports as an industry in Sri Lanka and in the Asian region. RAC Asia established to provide a platform to wider motorsports competitors, officials, administrators, spectators and fans to associate with RAC Asia and world class motorsports and performance events.
About RAC ASIA
RAC Asia started the year 2020 with Thunder Valley 2020 – MX Race Meet. This was organized and conducted in conjunction with Two Wheels Motor Racing Club (TWMRC) and held at the Thunder Valley Off Road Facility, Kaluaggala, Hanwella.

RAC Asia was presented at Colombo Motor Show 2019 and both RAC 1 and RAC 2 were presented to the public. This was the very first time a motor sports club and race team made an appearance at the Colombo Motor Show.

RAC Racing is the Race and Rally Team owned and managed by RAC Asia. RAC Racing was established in year 2018 with three Drivers namely Yasith Gamage, Rizmin Razik and Nadira Jinasena and One Co-Driver namely Dakshina Amarasinghe. Subsequently, Samin Attanayake and Kapila Nishantha joined RAC Racing Family in year 2019.
Year 2019 was a very successful year for RAC Racing with number of podium finishes and fastest timing of the day awards at multiple race meets.
